2025 is behind us, and we hope your Christmas and New Year are starting off blessed. We’re thankful for each of you who supported Back Forty Farms and made this past year possible. Below is a quick update on our December life on the farm.
Our lights are off our fence and house, but the tree is still standing. We just want it to last apparently.
The new pet treats seem to be a hit! We still have some but once gone they are gone for the season. Organic pork liver/hearts and pumpkin. You know that organic pork isn't commercially available, and combined with pumpkin, this topper gives your dog or cat an amazing boost. Learn more here.
We processed our last batch of meat birds, so that is a little over 180 chickens total. These are available parted out as well as whole chickens, so if you are local (sorry we don't ship these items) give them a try.
If you haven't had a farm raised chicken before, you just don't know what chicken is supposed to taste like.
We have cooked a lot of our organic pumpkin, which is available on our Country Store, but lots still going to the animals. Here is a short video feeding the cows.
Christmas was amazing spent with family and friends. Also in December, our granddaughter Kennedy turned 2! Dakota is getting cuter by the day. Kennedy has been learning a lot from Grandma in the kitchen this month too! She has her new chef hat and apron to top it off!
