We are a small farm and do all that we can to ensure our product is fresh, safe and packaged in the most secure way possible.

All food handlers have received a certificate by the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare, Food Safety Division.  This requires passing an exam which covers food handling and best practices.  The basics are followed including cleanliness, sanitation, the use of gloves, hand-washing and other tasks to ensure food safety.

Please be aware that our food may contain or come into contact with common allergens, such as dairy, eggs, wheat, soybeans, tree nuts, or peanuts.

We are not a certified organic farm, nor do we imply or suggest that we are.

  • We use certified organic seeds and well water for our vegetables and fruits. Irrigation water is oftentimes contaminated with roundup and other poisons, which is why we don't use it.

  • We do not use any pesticides or chemicals EVER in, near or around our garden.

  • We do not spray our plants with anything unnatural.

  • If we choose to use compost, it is organic or organically created.  Fertilizer and other compost you buy at stores are often times full of contaminants. We know exactly what is in our compost, or more importantly what is not in it - as usually, we use the compost that we create.

  • Some items we offer may fall under the Idaho Cottage Law.

Any food items that we sell that is not grown on our farm, is sourced from certified organic sources, or other local farms who use the same "clean" processes that we do. Regarding meat items, they are obtained from a USDA compliant source.
