Summer was in full swing here at Back Forty Farms, and we’ve got a lot of exciting updates to share with you!

🍇 Blackberry Jam

This season’s blackberry harvest was abundant, and we’ve been busy turning those berries into jars of rich, homemade jam. It’s the kind of flavor that reminds you of simpler times — sweet, tangy, and perfect on fresh bread or biscuits. We hope to have some available (pickup only) on our Country Store soon.

🌶️ Our Own Line of Hot Sauce

We’ve launched something brand new — our very own Back Forty Farms hot sauce! Crafted with a balance of heat and flavor, it’s a farm original we can’t wait for you to try. From tacos to scrambled eggs, it’s quickly becoming a favorite around here. That too, will hopefully hit our store soon and can be shipped nationwide.

🐴 Meet Prince

Our farm family has grown again! We’re thrilled to welcome Prince, a beautiful new horse who has already captured our hearts. He’s adjusting wonderfully and adds even more life and personality to the barn. The video below shows his very famous genealogy.

🌾 Second Cut of Hay

The fields have been generous this year, and we’ve just finished our second round of hay cutting. There’s something deeply satisfying about seeing the barn filled, knowing our animals will be well-fed through the seasons ahead.

🥕 Garden Harvest

The garden is overflowing! From fresh vegetables to vibrant herbs, we’re harvesting daily and bringing the bounty straight to your table. Every meal feels like a celebration of the season.

🍗 Farm-Raised Chicken Now Available

We’re excited to share that we’ve started selling our farm-raised, pasture-raised chickens. Raised naturally in our orchard, they’re healthy, flavorful, and raised with the same care we put into everything here at Back Forty.

For those looking to stock up, we have just 10 turkeys available for reservation and just 1 pig left. Once they’re gone, that’s it for the season — so don’t wait! If you wait much longer, they will be gone. Our turkeys and pigs are available for local residents and is pickup only.
