Our Freeze-Dried products are produced in a process where moisture is removed from the product using a very low temperature and a vacuum. The end product weight is reduced by over 80 percent, while the volume stays the same. This remarkable process concentrates the fresh taste, natural color, and texture of various foods.  
 
When rehydrated, the product will absorb the liquid and resemble fresh mushrooms once again. The taste is great and the nutritional value is preserved. Freeze-drying provides natural and additive free foods to be stored effectively for long periods of time, making them an ideal product for long term food storage and emergency preparedness.
 
Shelf-Life: Will store for 20+ years under ideal storage conditions (cool, dark, dry place).
 
Instructions: Add 1-2 parts water to 1 part mushroom(s). Allow them to rehydrate for about 15-20 minutes or until fully hydrated.
 
Uses: Can be rehydrated and added to your favorite recipes, eaten right out of the bag or added to soups and salads with no prep needed!
 
Packaging: Sealed in air-tight 7mil resealable Mylar bags with oxygen absorber  and hermetically heat sealed.  Small is .5oz, approx. 2.5 cups of mushrooms (cubed/diced)
