Our Freeze-Dried Dandelion Flowers are healthy, versatile and delicious!  
We do not use any chemicals, poisons, weed killer, etc. anywhere on our farm.

Our Freeze-Dried goods are produced in a process where moisture is removed from the product using a very low temperature and a vacuum. The end product weight is reduced by over 80 percent, while the volume stays the same. This remarkable process concentrates the fresh taste, natural color, and texture of various foods.
 
Freeze-drying provides natural and additive free foods to be stored effectively for long periods of time, making them an ideal product for long term food storage and emergency preparedness.
 
Although a time and labor intensive process, all dandelion flowers are hand picked and then cleaned through a double-wash system.  Product is then freeze-dried and packaged.  We do not use any chemicals, poisons, weed killer, etc. anywhere on our farm.  So, if you pick your own dandelions, make sure they are from a source that doesn't either.
 
Shelf-Life: Will store for 20+ years under ideal storage conditions (cool, dark, dry place).
 
Instructions: For tea, fill up tea steeper with dandelion flowers (amount depends on how strong/flavor you desire) let steep for 6-10 minutes, let cool a bit, sip and enjoy!  If you don't have a quality steeper, we recommend this one.  If not for tea, see below.
 
Uses: Can be sprinkled over your salad, eaten raw, mixed into a smoothie or shake or of course, tea.
 
Packaging: Freeze-dried flower is sealed in air-tight in resealable Mylar bags (oxygen absorber included) and hermetically heat sealed. 
Small:  1.5 cups
Large: 3 cups.

** Through the harvesting process, blades of grass, dandelion stems or dandelion leaves may be included.  Dandelion leaves and stems are very nutritious as the flower is.  Although this is rare, it can happen but know that nothing on our property is ever sprayed with chemicals, poisons, or anything harmful.
