Our Freeze-Dried Apple Wedges are light, crisp, healthy & delicious! Kids seem to love them as much as candy but are SO much better for them. Leave them in a bowl and have them as snacks, the bowl will be empty in no time. Okay, adults love them too.
Choose from a few varieties of apples:
- Honeycrisp (Organic) - Great balance of sweet and tart, with a rich & aromatic flavor.
- Honeycrisp (Regular) - Great balance of sweet and tart, with a rich & aromatic flavor.
- Fuji (Organic) - Tart but sweet with notes of honey and citrus.
- Minneiska (Organic) - A cross between Honeycrisp and Zestar varieties. Has a lively touch of citrus, honey, and spice.
- Opal (Organic) - Sweet, subtly tart, and tangy taste with pleasant fruity nuances reminiscent of banana, pear, and coconut.
- Envy (Organic) - It is a popular variety; very sweet apple and delicious with low acid.
- Apple Pie Spice (Organic) - A seasonal specialty, like taking a bite of apple pie! Our spice blend is added to organic apple wedges, variety of apple may vary.

Our Freeze-Dried goods are produced in a process where moisture is removed from the product using a very low temperature and a vacuum. The end product weight is reduced by over 80 percent, while the volume stays the same. This remarkable process concentrates the fresh taste, natural color, and texture of various foods.
When rehydrated, the product will absorb the liquid and resemble fresh apple wedges once again. The taste is great and the nutritional value is preserved. Freeze-drying provides natural and additive free foods to be stored effectively for long periods of time, making them an ideal product for long term food storage and emergency preparedness.
Shelf-Life: Will store for 20+ years under ideal storage conditions (cool, dark, dry place).
Instructions: Add 3 parts water to 1 part apple. Allow them to rehydrate for 20-30 minutes or until fully hydrated.
Uses: Can be rehydrated and added to your favorite recipes or eaten right out of the bag as a healthy snack!
