Freedom Festival III - 2 Days Away!

Hello,

We are getting very close to the 3rd Annual Freedom Festival, located at Back Forty Farm & Ranch and we are excited to see everyone! Start time is 5:00pm.

If you haven't bought your tickets yet, do so here, we'd love to have you!

If you have your tickets, the below is important information for you.

We are anticipating roughly 100 people so it will be a fantastic turnout again. We want to send out some important reminders so PLEASE read through this email in full, only important stuff is contained within.

The below seems like a long list of "do not do this or that" and in a way it is, but we are being very detailed for your safety only. We want you to have the most amazing evening with other like-minded patriots without issues or injury. We understand these are likely "non-issues" but still need to relay them to you.

Tickets: Please print out your tickets so we can scan them upon your arrival. If you don't have them, we will be able to look them up manually, but don't want to cause a bottleneck of cars.

Parking: When you pull in (map is on the event website) you will be directed where to park. Parking will be to the south of our arena, just a short walk to our back yard, where the food, shade, entertainment and pool is located.

Food: We will be providing meat, bottled water and lemonade. If you wish to consume other drinks, or adult beverages, please feel free to bring them and we would recommend a cooler.

Your Animals: Due to the number of animals we have on the property pets are not allowed anywhere on our property, please leave them home where it is cool inside.

Our Farm Animals: Please do not enter any caged/fenced off areas that contain animals without supervision from staff (there will be tours available; see below). We have goats, alpacas, pigs, bunnies, etc. that are pretty harmless, however our kangaroos, Scottish Highland Cows, and horses could cause severe injury if approached. Please make sure everyone, especially minors, are aware of this.

Feeding Our Animals: All animals are on a strict diet so please do not feed them anything, even if you think it's okay for them.

Tour of Back Forty: We will be offering a couple times to choose from should you be interested in taking a quick tour of our farm and animals. You will learn about the history of the property, our 107 year old barn, and have a chance to go inside and pet the sheep, goats, alpacas at that time.

Minors: Please keep in mind that we are a working farm and ranch with several potential dangers, should your children not be within your immediate line of sight. We do not want anyone to get hurt.

Barns, Arena and Out-buildings: Entry to any building is not allowed unless supervised. These are closed off due to safety concerns.

Release Form / Waiver: When you purchased your ticket(s) you also signed our waiver and release form. Again, we want everyone to have an enjoyable time with no injuries, so just be aware of your surroundings. Unlevel ground, a dropoff into Indian Creek (quite steep), animals, and other hazards are all potential hazards that everyone should be aware of.

Please Bring: Please bring a side-dish of your choosing (enough for 5-10 people), lawn chairs, towels, blankets, canopies, coolers, and anything else you need to make it a fun and comforatble evening. As in years past, tables will be set up for food and beverages, not eating areas.

Indian Creek: We encourage you to take a walk to the creek and enjoy our "secret spot" where it will be cool, you can dunk your feet and cool off. We have mowed a path for you and will direct you during the event.

Entertainment: We will have Johnny and his wife Karla singing for us again! If you haven't heard them, you are in for a real treat. When I first met Johnny he said that he "dabbled" in country music, along with rodeos. Later, I found out his "dabbling" was opening for Garth Brooks and Alan Jackson and he's also a member of the Idaho Cowboy Hall of Fame. We think you will enjoy them.

Restroom: There will be a porta-potty available close to where we gather.

Social Media: We hope you take lots of pictures and share them on your social media. We hope you remember to tag Back Forty (Facebook and Instagram) and also use the hashtag: #freedomfestival3

What Is Your Answer? Throughout the evening, if you wish to participate, you will be filmed asking you what freedom means to you, what America means to you, etc. All videos will be then be edited and compiled and then shared on our website and social media. If you do not wish to do this, no pressure. :-)

American Revolution: If you wish to ask any question about the American Revolution, feel free to get with Ron or Lisa, but be warned, they can talk about it for hours as it's their passion. Ron has a tattoo of the signature of George Washington and they own a lock of his hair, it's pretty intense. Ron's 5th Great-Grandfather fought in the Revolution out of Pennsylvania too. If you haven't already, you can tune in to the Patriot Power Podcast, where Ron covers the people, events, places that helped unite 13 colonies into the greatest nation on the planet.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Ron at backfortyfarms.ron@gmail.com or via phone/text at: 208-606-6024.

If you want others to join in the festivities please share the link to the event as we still have a couple days for ticket sales.

Updates and more information will be added here and on our social media.
