Well, time flies for sure! It's been a minute since we've written a newsletter, so grab a cup of coffee and let's get you caught up on all the goings-on around here.

Growing Season

The garden's in the ground and doing what gardens do best — growing faster than we can keep up with it! We've also added 150 new chickens to the flock, so if you hear a lot of clucking in the background these days, now you know why.

Not So Little Anymore

Remember those adorable "baby" Scottish Highland cows we bottle fed? They're over a year old now — and let's just say "baby" doesn't quite fit anymore. They've grown into their shaggy coats and horns, but they're still just as sweet as ever. Everyone (and every critter) on the farm is happy and healthy.

My First Rodeo

The biggest news of all: our grandson Dakota turned one in July! Lisa turned... well, let's just say a year older too (don't worry, Lisa, your secret's safe with us).

We threw a big shindig here at the farm with a "My First Rodeo" theme, and it did not disappoint. Boots, chaps, bandanas and lots more. One very happy birthday cowboy boy. It's hard to think when he was born, he spent a month in NICU.

Dakota keeps getting cuter by the day, and we've got the photos to prove it.

Something BIG Is In The Works

We've also got some (potentially) very exciting news on the horizon! We're still ironing out the details, so we can't share just yet, but stay tuned. Woo-hoo, we can't wait! We're leaving it in God's hands to determine if it'll happen, so keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
